Scott:

Scott has been playing the Great Highland Bagpipes for 16 years. He has receivedinstruction/mentorship primarily from Madelyn Evans-Langlois and by others but not limited to ScottWilliams, Darin Knox, and more.


Scott started playing with Clan Thompson Pipe Band, Nova Scotia Highlanders Pipes and Drums first asan associate member in 2016, and as an enlisted member in 2018.Scott joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 2018.


He was piper with the Pipes and Drums of theCeremonial Guard in Ottawa directly. Late that year, Scott travelled to Mons, Belgium and Vimy Ridge totake place in the 100th year Armistice celebrations. In 2019, he travelled to Normandy, France to takepart in the 75th commemoration of D-Day. Lastly Scott travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland to take part inthe Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2019.


Other events include, but are not limited to:- The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo 2012-17, 2019, 2021-22- A Piper at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and The Governor General’s House in Ottawa 2018- Many other events around Pictou County and Nova Scotia- Many other military-related events. Awards and Qualifications include, but are not limited to:- Qualification Level 3, 5A, and 6A Bagpipes (Canadian Armed Forces)- Competed grade 4 in Pipe Band Competitions- Competed grade 3 in Solo Competitions- Sandy MacLean Memorial Trophy (New Glasgow Highland Games)
